There's something so special about the 90s, that other decades after it really hold it on a spectacle. It's seen as the coolest, the self-deprecation is attractive for kids these days, and who doesn't like grunge? It's the best of the best.

Flashback to the 90s With These Iconic Memes That Tickle Our Nostalgia Bone
The 90s: an ode to miserable millennials who dream of days without smart phones, Instagram, or a collapsing economy. It's not easy being a 90s kid. Everyday is a struggle to reconcile that you barely touched the phantasm and opportunity that decades before us had. The 90s had all the best potential, that's all before debilitating technological advances that have only made everything worse (from the perspective of a millennial, of course).
Growing up on Saturday morning cartoons, skinned knees, baseball caps, and flannel was about the best childhood a kid could ask for. Playing outside in the neighborhood with friends until the sun went down, not a care in the world, and no one filming every movement you make either. You could send all your troubles to your CD player and blast Nirvana in your nascent ears, being soothed and staved by the simplest of days.
These days, kids are even more apathetic than millennials. Don't even get me started on the gripes of Gen Z or alpha, I don't envy them for a second.
